Exciting Announcements at June Board Meeting

In our June Board Meeting, we had the pleasure of sharing some exciting announcements. Congratulations to:

• Michael Janes who was appointed Chair of the Board at South Bank Community Land Trust. The board recognised he has been acting as interim Chair of the Board since December 2021 and has done an excellent job.

• Denise Rooney was appointed to the board as a Director. Denise, who has over 25 years of experience in the housing sector in the North of England, will be responsible as Chair of the Allocations Committee.

• Ian and Sue Jeffrey were appointed Vice Chair and Secretary to the board, respectively.

In addition, it’s nearly five years since the South Bank Community Land Trust was established back on 7th November 2018. Our board members met with the Community Land Trust Network (CLT) for a positive and constructive meeting to reflect on our journey and consider our next steps.
