An important aim of South Bank CLT is to create local employment and training opportunities for residents of all ages.
During the refurbishment phase of our project, we ensured contracts for the refurbishment work were accessible to local companies and that as far as legally possible, employed local people, with the assistance of local training providers and Redcar and Cleveland College to give people opportunities for real life, hands on work experience.
Although the refurbishment of the properties is now complete, we will continue to promote relevant job and work opportunities as they become available.
